HEJSA, I’M ANDERS,
I’m a Danish wedding photographer based in Chicago. Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m drawn to images that feel honest and quiet — the kind that don’t just show what a moment looked like, but what it actually felt like to be there.
What inspires me
A lot of my inspiration comes from being out in the world — traveling, meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and spending time in nature. Whether I’m in the mountains, by the ocean, or in the middle of a city, holding a camera helps me slow down and really see what’s in front of me.
Why weddings
Weddings are where everything I love about photography comes together. They’re filled with energy, emotion, and small, meaningful moments that pass in an instant. Being invited into that space — to document two people stepping into their future together — is something I never take lightly. I feel incredibly grateful to get to do this work, and I bring that care into every wedding I photograph.
